Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
AI Text Watermark Remover is a static website. It has no user accounts, no database and no server-side processing of your content. This policy explains exactly what does and does not happen to your data.
Your text
The text you paste or upload is read into your browser's memory and processed there by JavaScript. It is never transmitted to us, never written to a server, and never stored anywhere beyond the browser tab you are using. Closing or refreshing the tab discards it.
The synonym lookup
When the “Online synonym API” switch is enabled, the tool sends individual single words — never sentences, paragraphs or files — to the public Datamuse API to retrieve alternatives. Those requests are governed by Datamuse's own terms and privacy practices. Turning the switch off makes the tool fully offline: it then uses only its built-in dictionary and makes no outbound requests at all.
Cookies and local storage
No tracking or advertising cookies are set. A single entry in your browser's local storage remembers your light/dark theme preference. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics
This site ships without analytics. If a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool is added in future, this section will be updated before it goes live.
Hosting logs
The site is served by a static hosting provider which, like every web server, may record standard request metadata such as IP address, timestamp and user agent for security and abuse prevention. We do not have access to your text through those logs, because your text is never sent in a request.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
Any material change to this policy will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
