Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 August 2026
By using AI Text Watermark Remover (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
The Service is a free, browser-based text utility. It estimates where statistical watermark pressure is concentrated in a passage of text and offers synonym-based rewrites of those passages. It is provided for personal, educational and research use.
2. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only on text you own or are authorised to edit.
- Follow the rules of any institution, publisher, employer or client you write for. Many of them have explicit policies about AI assistance and about disguising it.
- Do not use the Service to commit fraud, plagiarism, academic misconduct, or to misrepresent the authorship of a document where authorship matters.
- Do not attempt to overload, scrape or resell the Service, or the third-party dictionary it relies on.
3. No guarantees of detection outcomes
The detection score shown by the Service is a heuristic estimate produced without access to any generator's private watermarking key. It is not a verdict from any specific vendor's detector, and no result from this Service should be read as a promise about how any third-party detector will classify your text.
4. Review your output
Synonym substitution is automated. Although the Service is deliberately conservative, it can still produce a word choice that is awkward or that shifts nuance. You are responsible for reading the rewritten text before you use it anywhere.
5. Availability
The Service is provided free of charge and may change, break or disappear at any time without notice. The third-party synonym dictionary it queries may also be unavailable; in that case the Service falls back to its built-in dictionary.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of the Service are not liable for any damages arising from its use, including loss of data, academic or professional consequences, or lost profits.
7. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the text you enter and to the rewritten output. The site's own design, copy and source code remain the property of their author.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
